Swirled in colour

print design

New print alert! I designed this print for Kite Clothing‘s winter 2023 collection and it’s one of my favourites. It is bright, colourful and happy. Coinciding with mental health day this week, I like that this print is uplifting and will hopefully bring joy to buyers. I really enjoyed working with this company before I left last year to go freelance. You can see the print on Kite’s website by searching ‘nimbus’. Alternatively click here to see it on a snowsuit. I’ve also included some images below of products that feature this print.

I hope you like this design. Check out my portfolio to see more of my work. I offer Graphic Design and Print Design for surface pattern and marketing purposes. You can enquire about my services via my contact page.

Prints for packaging

print design

I’ve been designing some prints for a small company called ‘UniOrganics’ that has just started up in the USA. I was asked to design a surface pattern for the packaging as well as the print for the first product. Another task was to draw some diagrams showing how to use the product, (pictured below).

Its the first time I’ve designed a surface pattern for packaging. I’m looking forward to exploring this more and looking into designing patterns for stationary and gifts.

I’ve included a small video below of the product.

Have a great day!

New spring summer collection for babies and kids!

print design

I designed all the prints and graphics for Kite Clothing’s new S/S 23 collection. I had a lot of fun working on this, and it’s looking great on the website. The theme was ‘Making Memories’ and some of the inspiration for this collection came from personal experiences. I’ve picked out some of my personal favourites from the spring collection below. Summer product will also be available soon!

I’ve also added these designs to my portfolio, you can check it out by going to the portfolio tab at the top of this page.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend so far!

Tees for the mountains

graphic design

I designed a logo for 3 Peaks Rentals in Sun Peaks Ski Resort, BC, Canada. The branded t-shirts are in, and they look great! Here are a couple of pictures to showcase the new design, modelled by the lovely Gabs, who currently works for this company. This logo also features on the company’s website and has been used for other marketing purposes.

A design for the trees

print design

When I was working as an in-house print designer for Kite, I designed a print inspired by trees local to the head office in Dorset. Kite teamed up with The Tree Council and I got to plant some trees which was a great day out and a fun project to be a part of. The products that were created through this collaboration raised money for this charity.

Hat patches inspired by Island in BC

graphic design

I recently designed some hat patches for a client in BC, inspired by Salt Spring Island. An island surrounded by beauty and art. I wanted to bring this across in my designs.

One of the designs is PU leather and the other an embroidery. See them below!

Polar bears playing

print design

I am in love with how this print I designed has turned out in Kite’s new collection for AW22. It depicts some very happy polar bears playing with the snow and having a little snow ball fight! I remember this was the first baby sample that came into the office when I was their in-house designer and it was the cutest thing! See it pictured below. It’s hard to pick my favourite print from this collection but this one definitely stands out for me.
