Hello folks. It’s been a while since I’ve posted something on my website. I promise from now on I’ll try my best to keep you updated! At this point in time, I am in the process of updating my website, as it was starting to look a bit dated! I am still working in-house for Brakeburn, an outdoor lifestyle brand based in Poole on the South Coast. I am now their Junior Print and Graphic designer rather than Assistant Print Designer, I was given this position earlier this year and am enjoying it. I design repeat patterns and placement graphics for mens and womens clothing and accessories as well as product/artwork for marketing material. They have recently released their Autumn Winter 19′ collection which I designed a number of prints for. You can see these designs using the Portfolio link on my website.
A number of prints that I have designed in-house for Brakeburn’s SS19 collection are now available to view through the portfolio link on my website!
I’ve just updated my portfolio on my website! Check it out here to see what I’ve been up to at Brakeburn and view the prints I’ve designed for this Autumn Winter 2018. Now available at brakeburn.com.
My first post in a while… I’ve been pretty busy!
Firstly, I graduated in July with a First Class Honours in Printed Textiles (super happy).
Afterwards I did some temporary summer work and was about to do an internship in London when this amazing opportunity came along….
I now work for Brakeburn, a clothing brand situated in the UK. I’m their in-house Assistant Print Designer and I’m really enjoying it! It’s been a great couple of months so far, the highlight so far has been helping out at the photo shoot for their A/W 18 collection last week.
In other news… I’m still finding some time to paint, and considering buying a massive easel so that I can get back to doing some big expressive stuff.
I’m also thinking of creating some funky products, (pillows spring to mind!) from some of the designs I made at uni (watch this space), If anyone would like to buy one of my paintings or would be interested in any of my designs from my website please let me know!
For two weeks, I was lucky enough to gain some work experience with the award winning and sustainable clothing brand Rapanui. I was appointed to design a collection of flannel shirts and t-shirt patterns for men and women for the upcoming A/W season. This also included sorting colour swatches ready for production.
My designs are set to be for sale on their website later this year!
