Sealife inspired illustrations

Here are some illustrations that I did recently for Spiralis Energy, a company in the UK creating sustainable energy from moving water. I thoroughly enjoyed creating these! The first one (shown below) depicts a spiral of sealife, each element is hand drawn and placed in this format to depict a spiral of swimming sea creatures.

The second illustration (shown below) depicts a chilled out floating otter. The meaning behind this is because the tidal energy generator that Spiralis Energy have created, floats in the ocean, not like other tidal energy generators that are placed deep in the water or at the bottom of the ocean.

Designs for swimming brand

My first design for LIF (Last is Fast) is available to purchase! I always enjoy creating artwork for brands like LIF, as I love swimming myself and still swim regularly today. It’s a great sport for mental and physical well-being. As you can tell from a lot of my other blog posts and portfolio, I am what is known as a ‘water baby’, so any clients that ask about a water activity inspired print, whether that be surfing, jumping in a lake, or competitive swimming, I am always keen. Swimming badges

I am excited to announce that my first project with NOWCA (National Open Water Coaching Association) is now live. NOWCA is the UK’s largest network of safe open water swimming venues. I was asked to design the acheivement badges for their winter swimming sub 10 club 2024/25. This is when swimmers submerge into water below 10 degrees in the winter months. See images below of the designs and where they have been used on social media and NOWCA’s website.

Coastal inspired designs

Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to share with you some recent illustrations and prints that I have created inspired by coastal life and the ocean in particular. We get a lot of seagulls here in the south of England, so you will see an appearance of those in the artwork below. I hope you like them. Swing Tag Design

I was asked to design a swing tag for Wilda, an outdoor swimming brand based in Bristol in the UK. This design was inspired by wild swimming and water based activities. You can view the images below to see how it turned out as well as the original workings. I am super happy with it! Always a pleasure working with a brand that encourages swimming. As you will see on the about me page on my website, I love any water related activities, particularly swimming and surfing, I also use these outdoor activities as a way of gaining inspiration for my work. I also created artwork for stickers, surface pattern for packaging, and an illustration for a long sleeve t-shirt for this brand, with more to come!

Exciting news! I have been working with an outdoor swimming brand based in Bristol, UK. I was asked to create an illustration for a t-shirt inspired by swimming in the wild. I sketched a few different layouts and swimmers in different positions. We decided to go with the drawing as featured in the images below. I really enjoyed creating this for Wilda, they are a great brand that encourage people to get involved with open water swimming, an activity I also love.

I have experience designing graphics and surface pattern for packaging. My most recent project was with Wilda, an outdoor swimming brand based in the UK. I was limited to only one colour for this design but I loved the challenge and enjoyed creating a design that reflects Wilda’s brand aesthetic and values. Logo for cocktail bar

I recently designed a logo for a bar in Poole called Cardinals. It’s always great to design for local businesses.
